Call for Abstracts
The Call for abstracts has now closed
The Organising Committee for the IVO Congress 2012 invites abstract submissions for paper presentations at the 2012 Congress.
All abstracts will be considered, however, we encourage you to submit abstracts which address the conference themes as listed below:
Main topic
1. Pain system – Patients with pain, degenerative disease, rheumatic
illnesses
2. Sensori motor system responsible for all movement, foot interface
between human kind and environment
3. Paediatrics
4. The business end, business models from different countries

Abstract Guidelines
All abstracts must follow the official Abstract Guidelines and should adhere to the Abstract Template.
Abstract Submission
To submit an abstract for the IVO Congress 2012 please ensure you have the following documentation:
• Name and contact details
• The title of your presentation
• Theme of presentation
• Names of all author/s who will be presenting
• Speakers biography
• Completed abstract as per the guidelines and template above
When you are ready click the Speakers Portal button below where you will be redirected to the IVO Congress 2012 Speakers Portal.
Once your submission is complete you will receive a confirmation email with your login name and access key. You can use these details to access the Speakers Portal where you can review and update various parts of your submission and personal information. |

Abstract Review and Notification
The selection of abstracts will be made on their significance, relationship to the Congress themes and interest to a wide range of delegates. Abstracts will be reviewed by the committee and authors will be notified of their acceptance on Thursday 22 September 2011. The committee reserves the right to reject any abstract considered not to meet the congress criteria.
Due to space restrictions of the Congress program, it may not be possible for all Abstracts meeting the criteria to be included in the program. The organising committee retains the right to decide the type of presentation that will be offered.
Important Points to Note
• Potential presenters should note all costs to attend the Congress must
be met from their own resources
• At least one author of the accepted abstract is expected to attend and
present their paper at the Congress
• All Abstracts accepted will be published in the Congress proceedings
